Created a comprehensive portfolio project focused on clutch scoring in the NBA. Using the HoopR package’s play-by-play data, I filtered regular-season plays from the final two minutes of regulation, categorized home vs. away scoring, and calculated each team’s performance in these crucial moments. I then visualized the data using ggplot2, incorporating team logos into a scatter plot, and built a polished leaderboard table with gt and gtExtras. This project highlights my R programming skills and my ability to extract meaningful basketball insights from raw data.
